UniCredit Leasing to finance 3D projectors
The lessor said that the new agreement with Cinemeccanica whose customers include Odeon UK and Warner Bros International will allow cinema owners and chains to finance high-definition equipment such as 3D projectors, which in recent times have become a great attraction for the public.
CHP selected by ‘major Nordic bank’
CHP Consultings ALFA v5 solution has been selected by a major Nordic bank, the lease software specialist announced last month. CHP Consulting said its flagship solution was chosen as the group-wide software platform of the client organisation, supporting a portfolio comprising 130,000 agreements with a total asset value of more than SEK30bn (3.2bn).
Syscap appoints executive chairman
Independent asset finance provider Syscap has appointed John Allbrook as its executive chairman. Allbrook previously was CEO of GoIndustry DoveBid plc, an online provider of asset sales and services he led the company through its listing on AIM and subsequent acquisition of its largest international competitor in January 2008.

Asset finance software provider Cassiopae has bought a 100% share of fleet management software firm InfoParc from former owner Europ Assistance, a subsidiary of Italian financial services group Generali.

TransLinc sings deal with Lincolnshire Council
Local authority fleet vehicle provider TransLinc has won a contract hire and maintenance agreement with Lincolnshire Councils highway division to supply 53 vehicles. The agreement is for 49 Mitsubishi Canter box vans and tippers and four Mercedes-Benz Axor tippers which will be used for essential day-to-day maintenance work, including repairing roads, dropped kerbs, potholes, removing fallen trees and clearing up after accidents and emergencies.

ASF appoints new president
Frances leasing and consumer credit association Association Franaise des Socits Financires (ASF) has elected Bruno Salmon as its new president. Four vice-presidents have also been elected: Philip Dumont, MD of Credit Agricole Consumer Finance; Didier Hauguel, president of FranFinance, part of Socit Gnrale; and Thierry Willieme, MD of GE Capital France.
