Independent asset finance provider Syscap has
appointed John Allbrook as its executive chairman.
Allbrook previously was CEO of GoIndustry
DoveBid plc, an online provider of asset sales and services –
he led the company through its listing on AIM and
subsequent acquisition of its largest international competitor
in January 2008.
Prior to that, Allbrook spent most of his
career in leasing, including nine years in various senior positions
at GE Capital. His roles included an MD role for the
EMEA region at Sun Microsystems Finance, the global vendor
finance programme between GE and Sun Microsystems.
