Job Description: J2629 – Our client is seeking a Vendor Relationship Manager, Hard Assets to build and maintain excellent relationships with vendor / dealer / broker partners to deliver best in class programme delivery whilst maximizing UK volumes and profitability. You will have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a sales account management position within the leasing / finance industry. Knowledge and experience in construction, transportation and materials handling and engineering industries would be preferable. Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, NW / N Eng (Manchester, Leeds or Sheffield)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and maintain new and existing vendor / dealer / broker / partner programmes in terms of relationship and business volume (The allocated vendor / dealer / broker partners and targets shall be detailed in the annual budget).
Support Sales Head, Business Development Manager, other relationship and account managers as required.
Promote and sell point of sale services.
Following dealer / vendor / direct end user customer introductions proactively make customer visits & and telephone calls to end user customers to discuss financing requirements and ultimately close the sale of the financing of the equipment.
Manage and sell pricing policy and negotiate on rate with allocated vendor accounts.
Conduct regular reviews on vendor accounts and maintain vendor up to date programmes summaries and procedures.
Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted with considered and strong commercial support as appropriate.
Manage risk declines and act as a contact for appealing decisions.
On a day to day basis build strong personal relationships both externally and internally to fulfill the role.
Hit personal and team volume, income and margin targets and other objectives as required including the obtaining of new vendor accounts.
Convert vendor / dealer / broker partners to using POS systems.
Prepare and submit residual value applications for approval.
Assist in the evaluation of new documentation and provide drafting comments.
In conjunction with internal staff ensure that monthly reports for vendor / dealer / broker partners are completed.
