Medialease, a UK-based provider of asset finance for the media, broadcast, live events and AV industries, has hired Paul Donkin and Lisa Loutfi.
Donkin joins the team as business development director. He has worked in asset finance, specifically funding technology assets, for the last 20 years both in the UK and internationally. He was previously with ECS, Econocom and Lombard.

Loutfi has joined the team as senior credit manager, she has over 20 years’ experience in banking and underwriting mostly with HSBC and RBS/Natwest, but most recently she was underwriting at Ultimate Asset Finance.
Donkin said: “It’s an incredible opportunity to join the team, who have a fantastic reputation in the media, broadcast, live events and AV sector. The live events sector has been hit hardest through the pandemic but we are now starting to see demand and investment increase through to the end of 2021 and on into 2022.
“The build-out of the business means that we will also be fully supporting prospects and customers outside of the traditional sector, using the team capability to deliver class-leading asset finance solutions across a range of businesses”
