Bibby’s ex head of sales joins Time Finance

By Anita Senaratna

Time Finance has appointed Adrian Payne as head of sales in their invoice finance division. In his new role, Payne will be responsible for leading the sales team in the south of England as they continue to grow their client base there.

He brings almost a decade of industry experience to the role, having started his career as a business development manager, before working his way up the ranks at Aldermore before moving on to become a regional director at Ultimate Finance. In his most recent role as head of sales for Bibby Financial Services, he was responsible for generating awareness of their products across the South West of England and managing a sales team of six.

Phil Chesham, head of invoice finance at Time Finance, said he was” delighted” to welcome Payne to Time Finance.

“He will undoubtedly be a great addition given his proven track record of delivering new business targets and leading regional sales teams to success,” said Chesham.

“Invoice Finance continues to be a valuable and staple finance solution for businesses who are looking to release additional working capital to fund innovation and growth. We have ambitious growth objectives to continue enabling UK firms to do just that and Adrian’s appointment will help us in achieving this.”

Speaking of his appointment, Payne commented: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Time Finance. There’s a definite momentum in the market with investment high on the agenda and many business owners are looking for cashflow funding solutions to help capitalise on new business opportunities.

“I’m looking forward to leading a dynamic and committed team who have already built an excellent reputation for delivering creative funding solutions that inspire the confidence business owners need to take their businesses to the next level. Over the years, I have watched Time Finance grow from strength to strength, and now with a robust multi-product offering in place, I believe they are well-placed to help fuel this growth.”

The announcement follows several other hires in high-profile roles at Time Finance this year, including Sharon Bryden as director of commercial loans & ABL, and Abbie Mosley as a broker manager.
