Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed a head of sales for the Thames Valley region.

Jonathan Charsley has been promoted to the role from business development manager in London and the south east.

He has been with BFS for 11 years, during which he has also been head of sales for Sussex.

The appointment brings BFS’s team for the Thames Valley to seven members of staff.

Charsley said: “Thames Valley is home to a diverse range of SMEs, and Bibby Financial Services is in a great position to support more businesses in the area after having expanded its product capabilities.

“BFS has significantly developed its corporate funding capability in the last few years to include stock finance, foreign exchange and asset finance, meaning that we can now unlock more funding to help businesses grow.”

Gary Davis, regional sales director for the south at BFS, added: “Jonathan has a wealth of experience in working with businesses in the south east, so his expertise and pre-existing network in the area made him a perfect match for the job.

“SMEs in the Thames Valley are thriving, and we want to continue to build our presence in this enterprise hot spot to ensure they have access to the funding they need to thrive.”
