Aldermore Business Finance has appointed Stephen Farrelly as head of relationship management, to be based in its Manchester office.

Farrelly will be charged with overseeing client relationships for invoice finance in the North, and developing Aldermore’s asset backed lending proposition and capabilities.

Prior to joining Aldermore, Farrelly spent over 15 years at ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, and has also worked for RBS Invoice Finance and Lloyds Bank.

Farrelly said: “Aldermore is rapidly growing its market share of the invoice finance market, and I am excited about being able to supporting that growth in my new role.

“The bank’s flexible and customer-centric approach is what persuaded me to join, and my experience and contacts will allow me to help more businesses access the funding they need to grow.”

Farrelly will be based in Aldermore’s Manchester office, and will report to Ross McFarlane, commercial director, invoice finance.
