Vans pull Europe’s CV registrations up

Europes CV registrations were 9.1 percent up in April 2010 compared to one year before, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) The growth mostly reflected a rise in LCV registrations which recorded a 13.7 increase over April 2009 (to 124,704 units) All major markets posted a growth from 6 percent in the UK to over 30 percent in France and Spain.

New appointments at IDS

Lease software provider International Decision Systems (IDS) has chosen Tom Thomas as its new interim CEO, replacing Todd Davis. Thomas, who has been IDS executive chairman since last year, has 30 years of enterprise software experience, having previously held CEO roles at Ajuba Solutions, Vantive Corporation, HAHT Commerce and GXS. The company has also appointed Terry Welty formerly a senior vice president of marketing at Quark as vice president and chief marketing officer, to lead the companys global marketing and product management programmes.
