British bank Aldermore has recruited
Ali Humphries as HR director. Humphries joins from Nationwide
Building Society, where she was head of HR. The new bank’s asset
finance division recently added 45 new staff ad part of its
expansion plans in asset finance.

 

GE Capital

GE Capital has appointed Arthur
Mathysen Gerst as its new head of pan-European fleet services. He
will be responsible for identifying new pan-European customers and
developing new products and services. Gerst will report into Isabel
Fernandez, chief commercial officer for GE Capital in EMEA.
Mathysen Gerst’s previous roles include senior positions across the
LeasePlan network (in Belgium, Brazil and Poland).

Leasedrive Velo

UK fleet management company Leasedrive
Velo has made three new appointments. Kate Adams and Andrew White
join as business development managers within its rental management
and vehicle management divisions respectively; and Liz Davenport as
a bid and tender executive in support of both divisions. Adam’s
previous experience includes a sales manager role at Daimler Fleet
Management. White previously worked for Lombard as corporate
business development manager. Davenport has been promoted to the
new role from the company’s client services team.

 

Key Equipment
Finance

US-headquartered Key Equipment Finance
(KEF) has promoted Ken Payne to senior product owner. Payne joined
KEF in 2007 as senior project manager. In his new role, he will be
responsible for product roadmaps, including defining product vision
and features for ExpressLink, the company’s originations processing
system.

 

LeasePlan

Dutch vehicle lessor LeasePlan has
appointed Teri Ross as vice-president of client services for its US
operation. Ross has 16 years’ experience in business development,
strategic planning and project management in the fleet industry.
She joined LeasePlan in 2007 as a director for account management.
In her new role, she will oversee the account management and
activation teams, the business intelligence reporting group and
FleetDesk, the company’s driver contact centre.

 

Selmabipiemme
Leasing

Italy’s Selmabipiemme Leasing, the
leasing joint venture between Mediobanca and Banca Popolare di
Milano, has named Giuseppe Coppini as its new chairman. He replaces
Beniamino Anselmi, who was recently named to the board of Banca
Monte Parma.

 

UniCredit Leasing

Sebastiano Musso has been appointed as
deputy managing director at UniCredit Leasing. He has complete
responsibility for the Italian market (including managerial
responsibility of UniCredit Fineco Leasing). Musso has gained
extensive experience in corporate and retail banking within the
UniCredit Group. Most recently, he was in charge of business in the
Lombardy region of Italy for UniCredit Bank.

Leasing Solutions

BNP Paribas has reshuffled the
management team at its equipment solutions division with two
appointments. Didier Chappet will be the new CEO of BNP Paribas
Leasing Solutions, replacing Philippe Bismut. He joined BNP Paribas
in 2005, as head of the back office in French retail banking. He
was then appointed special advisor to Bismut in May this year.
Bismut returns to fleet management subsidiary Arval as special
advisor to CEO Laurent Tréca. From 1 January, 2011 he will be CEO
at Arval, while Tréca will remain chairman. Bismut also remains
head of the equipment solutions division. Bismut joined BNP Paribas
in 2002 as CEO of Arval UK and managing director of Arval. In 2006,
he was appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Lease Group.
