The average wholesale used van price increased again in August,
according to Manheim Auctions.
The auction house said that used van prices increased by 5.9
percent to £3,273, compared with July.

Compared with August last year, there was an 18.8 percent
increase from £2,755.
According to the auctioneer, this is the sixth month this year
that average values have increased.
Alex Wright, CV sales director at Manheim Auctions, said: “While
we are now well into the seasonal period when values traditionally
harden, this increase in August following a couple months of
stability does come as something of a surprise.”
“However we continue to see strong attendances both in the
auction halls and online with healthy bidding and high conversion
rates suggesting that there is still underlying strength in the
wholesale used van market.”
