Russia’s economic development minister Elvira Nabiullina said
that there was a need for the state’s gradual withdrawal from the
economy.

As a consequence, she said, the government will sell its
minority stakes in Rosagroleasing as well as shipping company
Soycomflot and a number of ports and airports.

It is expected that the revenue from privatisation will exceed
the RUB7 billion already planned for 2010.
