Pinsent Masons leasing partner Graeme McLellan has jumped ship
to law firm Stephenson Harwood, making the number of new arrivals
with leasing specialisms at the London-based firm to four in recent
months.

Others include aircraft finance expert Richard Parsons, who
arrived at the beginning of this month, Paul Ng, an aviation
partner now working from offices in Singapore and China, who joined
in March, and also Clare McConnell, who has project and asset
finance expertise, who joined in February.

Ng, who joined from law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer,
which has made the decision to reduce its asset finance capability,
is global head of aviation at Stephenson Harwood.

McLellan, who acted while at Pinsents for Angel Trains and
Lloyds TSB rail Finance, is an important addition to the firm’s
rail practice, led by Mary Bonar, particularly as it is keen to act
for more European rolling stock lessors.

His practice is divided equally between rail and aviation
finance, and in the past he has acted for Angel Trains on UK
refranchising work. He is also particularly well known for
non-contentious corporate jet finance work.

Pinsent Masons is looking to hire in someone to replace
McLellan, it is understood.
