Ken Brown has been promoted to head up CAP Monitor, the industry
guide to forecasting new and used residual values for light and
heavy commercial vehicles. He comes with some 35 years experience
in the commercial vehicle industry, as well as an academic
background in IT and economics. He joined CAP from Leyland Auto
where he was an area sales manager.

Key Equipment Finance

Key Equipment Finance (Key) has hired Michelle Worster as senior
vice president of operations. She will be responsible for managing
the company’s client services, originations, asset management,
collections, project management and business support service
functions.

Prior to joining Key, Worster spent four years with CIT
Specialty Finance Europe directing the company’s operations for 15
European countries. Previously she worked for GE for 15 years in
various management, quality assurance, engineering and operations
positions.

GE Commercial Finance

GE Commercial Finance, Business Finance, has appointed Adam
Johnson as managing director, Corporate Structured Finance, with
responsibility for the leadership, direction and growth of the
structured asset-based lending and cash flow business to UK and
European corporates. He will also sit on Business Finance’s senior
leadership board.

Johnson joined the company in 2006 as a member of its Corporate
Structured Finance team and led several large transactions
including the €170m “Securitisation Lite” deal for Dana
Corporation.
Previously, he worked in both risk and originations roles at
Rabobank, Hill Samuel, Barclays and, latterly, West LB where he
spent seven years.

TietoEnator

Monica Ek-Lindblom has been appointed as acting chief financial
officer of TietoEnator Group and Seppo Haapalainen as acting
president for the company’s Banking & Insurance business.
Ek-Lindblom has worked in TietoEnator in finance and controller
positions from 1989 to 1994 and again since 1996. Her latest role
was business area controller in the Telecom & Media business
area.

Haapalainen has worked with TietoEnator since 1991 in different
managerial positions in the Banking & Insurance area. In
addition to his new role he will continue in his current position
as senior vice president, head of Partnership Services.

Syscap

Syscap has appointed Tim Canham as sales director – in charge of
the company’s flow business in relation to channel, vendor
programmes, core business and public sector.

Canham joined Syscap from Universal Leasing where he was one of
the founding directors. Prior to this he gained experience by
working with a number of mainstream lessors including Barclays,
Woodchester LMS and CitiCapital. He was also deputy chairman of the
Finance & Leasing Association’s Technology Group from 2003 to
2007.

GE Money

Longtime GE veteran and former GE Capital executive, William
Cary has been promoted to the position of president and chief
executive officer of GE Money. Cary joined GE in 1986 as a member
of the Financial Management Program and served in a number of
financial positions. Since February 2006 he has served as president
and CEO of GE Money Europe, Middle East and Africa, the largest
group within GE Money,

Fortis Lease UK

Gerard Moon, general manager and David Hill, senior relationship
director, are to leave Fortis Lease UK at the end of March. Moon
came to Fortis Lease via CA Industrial Finance which he joined in
1990 and which became BA/CA Asset Finance which was later acquired
by Fortis in 2003. Moon is reported to be to moving to new career
challenges in the leasing sector.

GrenkeLeasing UK

Following GrenkeLeasing AG’s acquisition of its UK franchise,
GrenkeLeasing UK, Rania Pugh, formerly the latter’s operations
director has been promoted to managing director. The acquisition
marks a conclusion in the UK of the franchise-to-subsidiary model
that the company launched in 2004 in partnership with Kevin Kennedy
and signals a move to group ownership.
