Alexander Wueerst has been
appointed new chairman of Deutsche Leasing’s supervisory
board.
Wueerst, chief executive of regional savings
bank Kreissparkasse in Cologne, has been vice chairman of Deutsche
Leasing’s supervisory board for the past three years.

He replaces Karl-Ludwig Kamprath, who held the
position since 2007.
Commenting on his appointment, Wueerst said he
was looking forward to his new role and the challenges coming with
it.
“The partnership between Deutsche Leasing and
the savings banks is a highly successful key component of
Sparkassen Finanzgruppe’s business model,” he added.
