Lombard has provided lighting equipment distributor Green Lite
Solutions UK with an £800,000 (€900,000) finance line, alongside a
£450,000 Enterprise Finance Guarantee loan from the Royal Bank of
Scotland, its parent.

The £800,000 will be used by Warrington-based Green Lite
Solutions to purchase a fleet of 45 new vehicles, the company
said.

Green Lite Solutions, formerly called Direct Lamp Distribution,
was relaunched by its directors John Millar and Mark Dempsey this
month as a provider of energy efficient lighting to commercial
customers.

“John and the rest of his management team are experienced
operators and possess a great deal of knowledge in this particular
market,” said Ian McGhee, relationship manager at RBS.

“They impressed us with their vision of a business based upon
energy-efficient lighting solutions and secured the bank’s
backing.”
