The Macedonian subsidiaries of Slovenian company, NLB Leasing, and Austrian Hypo Alpe Adria Leasing plan are to start large-scale housing projects in Skopje.

NLB Leasing plans to start building 12 apartments, worth up to €2m, as a pilot project, NLB’s Leasing director, Maja Lape Trajkova, is reported to have said. It plans later to build a housing complex with 500 apartments in central Skopje.

The Macedonian division of Hypo Alpe Adria Leasing has reportedly agreed with an unnamed foreign partner to build properties for Skopje’s elite business community.
