Sean Jones will re-join Hitachi Capital as head of strategy after a year as Aldermore’s head of broker sales.

The role has been created for Jones, which is full-time, and Jones will report into Gavin Wraith-Carter, Hitachi Capital’s general manager.

Jones will be responsible for ensuring Hitachi Capital’s products, delivery, systems, positioning and overall sales strategies continue to support the businesses’ aims and those of its intermediary partners, said Hitachi.

The roles of Andy Taylor (head of broker sales) and Shaun Carroll (head of block discounting) remain unchanged and they will continue to manage their sales team and channels as before, said Hitachi in a statement.

In February of last year, Aldermore announced that Jones would join from Hitachi as its head of broker sales, after a brief stint working in agricultural sales for Hitachi.

Jones previously spent over 20 years working in broker sales for ING Lease, according to his LinkedIn profile.
