Paper reprocessing company SCA Recycling has taken delivery of
21 new DAF 26t rigids from transport lessor Fraikin.
The trucks are being supplied on a five year full service
contract hire agreement. The deal includes all servicing and
maintenance of the chassis and bodywork, managed via Fraikin’s
central customer support centre in Coventry.

With the delivery, over a quarter of SCA Recycling’s 75-strong
fleet will be replaced and Fraikin remains the company’s sole
supplier of commercial vehicles.
SCA Recycling’s operations director Robin Collier commented:
“Fraikin has worked closely with us for more than 15 years to
understand our operation and ensure our fleet incorporates the best
available technology.”
The new CVs will be used primarily to collect and transport
recovered paper from printers, publishers and carton manufacturers
to SCA Recycling’s processing plants around the UK.
