Daimler Financial Services has appointed Klaus Entenmann as its
new chairman.
Entenmann, who was president and CEO of Daimler FS Americas,
succeeds Juergen Walker, whose contract is ending as scheduled.
Walker retires after 30 years within the company, where he had
been serving as chairman since 2004.
Entenmann has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial
services business.
Bodo Uebber, member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG,
said: “Klaus Entenmann has successfully built up the financial
services operations in North and South America.”
“Due to his leadership, we are rated number one in dealer
satisfaction on both the car and truck side in this region. I’m
excited to have him in this new position as Chairman of our global
operations.”
