Spain’s BBVA has signed an agreement with the country’s national
association for the self-employed (ATA) to offer financing at
preferred conditions to its members.
More than 430,000 ATA members working for small and
micro-business firms could benefit from an easier access to loans,
finance and operating leasing, the Spanish banking group has
said.

It added that ATA professionals will be able to request loans
and leasing for their investment at more favourable conditions,
including better interest rates.
BBVA’s business segment director Antonio Alonso said that the
agreement with ATA is expected to strengthen the bank and its
leasing subsidiary’s client base in the small business sector, “an
area in which we are specialised and in which we offer the best
financial proposals in a time when they need support from financial
institutions”.
