Italy’s Banca Agrileasing is to get €327
million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support the
country’s small and medium-sized sector, it has just been
announced.
Under the terms of the agreement, Banca
Agrileasing as well as the banking network of the lessor’s parent
Banche di Credito Cooperativo (BCC) will make available the EIB
loans through finance leasing operations of up to €12.5 million
each.
In the last month, Italy’s leasing companies
have already received almost €600 million from the EU’s long-term
lending bank. These included €150 million for Sardaleasing, and
€100 for Cariparma, part of Crédit Agricole.
