Job Description: J2617 – Our client is seeking a Head of UK Hard Asset Sales. You will be a rainmaker and well known across their patch with a history of surpassing both volume and income targets. The role will involve the management, motivation and development of an account management team across multiple
locations, providing strong relationship management and risk control over a growing portfolio. You
will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong leadership within the Hard Asset /
Agricultural sector. Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 plus excellent bonus and benefitsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key role would be to deliver significant volume at a blended rate of Tier 1 and 2 category
business from either a direct or intermediary route (Vendor and Broker).
The individual would have a personal target and we would be looking at a target with sight of significant growth in 21/22.
Deals would be expected to be circa £200k upwards, (with good credit/asset coverage).
Along with driving new business the role would also be responsible for managing a team of 2
account managers across the agricultural space.
They would have experience within the mid ticket/corporate/HA environment.
Achievement of sales revenue targets through new business sales.
The entire sales process from start to close, ensuring that the process is managed effectively.
Reporting on sales prospect pipeline.
Liaising with the company’s executives/directors where appropriate on new sales opportunities and escalating issues where necessary.
Negotiate terms of proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and submit for approval.
Contribute new ideas for the development of the business.


10+ years in a leasing sales role.
Demonstrable track record of success and an appreciation of risk.
Structuring and negotiating bespoke, profitable deals.
Managing and developing accounts.
Wide ranging knowledge of the asset leasing market.
Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
Ability to plan & prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close leasing opportunities.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
