Job Description: J2602 – Our client is seeking a Key Accounts Manager, UK Equipment Leasing to bring great passion in helping their large direct customers in the UK optimise leasing and usage of their equipment fleet.
You can expect a team of highly motivated and experienced professionals with a great passion for the materials handling, transportation & construction sector, and strong drive to service customers. Location: UK, Flexible.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Identify, scope, prioritise, and target potential key account opportunities in construction, transport and intralogistics in alignment with global key account staff.
Research end user prospects by vertical. Develop a prioritised prospect list and identify customer needs/requirements and make / execute the prospecting plan in line with international key accounts strategy.
Manage and drive the quotation process via a consultative sales approach working with customers, prospects and suppliers to identify specific needs, then aligning internally with appropriate parties to provide a customised solution that differentiates ourselves from the competition.
Support and manage the development of appropriate transactional documentation / structures in cooperation with local) departments (legal, tax, credit etc.).
Prepare and present documentation and proposals for review in credit, risk, asset management approval committees.
Manage complex and structured accounts.
Manage referral relationships with manufacturers or dealers, ensuring the Key Accounts strategy is maintained.
Develop fleet asset management solutions leveraging existing major account customers and provide value added solutions that result in new customers.
Work closely in an international matrix environment to develop and promote new fleet asset management products and services.
Generate income opportunities: Volume, Margin, Fees, Gross Profit, Non-interest Income focus.
Expansion of customer base.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Bachelor/Master Education preferred.
10+ year commercial experience in the UK Asset Finance Industry, alternatively commercial experience on a senior level in the sectors of Construction, Transport and Intralogistics.
Extensive operating (FMV) Leasing / structuring experience with key accounts.
Energised, persistent and resilient in order to deliver best in class business performance.
Passionate about the business of the customers (eager to deliver win-win).
Able to maintain a positive attitude to get things done while working to demanding targets.
Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with corporate and divisional leaders and peers.
Capable of working independently and as part of a “virtual team” across geographies and disciplines within the matrix environment.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
