Job Description :	Our client is seeking a Credit Risk MI & Reporting Analyst – London (ref: J2032) to provide monthly reporting to Risk and Executive Committees and Group Credit Risk, as well as regulatory and other ad hoc requests. You will drive pro-active analysis of credit trends, emerging risks and thematic / portfolio reviews across the business. In addition, the role will have shared responsibility for increasing the quality of credit data and the effectiveness of overall analysis and reporting. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Pro-active analysis of credit trends and emerging risks across the asset finance and leasing loan book. Perform portfolio / product reviews and make relevant recommendations. Maintain and improve Credit Risk reporting models and databases to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance with bank guidelines. Embed processes and controls to improve quality of credit data. Develop and support development of new methodologies / models for monitoring and managing credit risk across the portfolio including Basel Pillar 2, IFRS 9, bad debt forecasting. Produce standard monthly reporting to Risk and Executive Committees, including monitoring of credit appetite and early warning indicators. Produce and present information to enable the completion of thematic reviews and portfolio analysis on the asset finance and leasing loan book, to help improve portfolio management. Respond to quarterly regulatory and other ad hoc requests. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Educated to degree level or equivalent / qualified through professional experience. Experience of credit risk and portfolio analysis. Knowledge of the asset finance industry. Potential to utilise analytical tools. Experience of credit scoring in a retail or commercial environment and use of external credit bureau data. Experience of credit risk models. Strong aptitude for working with data, carrying analytics, interpreting results and making recommendations. An ability to work to a high standard of accuracy and present information in a logical and professional format. Strong verbal and written skills that ensure you can convey technical concepts and analysis to a non-technical audience. A logical and analytical mind with a passion for solving problems that deliver real business benefit. An ability to work independently. Advanced excel skills. Experience of using analytical tools, e.g. SAP / Business Objects. We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
