Job Description :

An exciting vacancy has arisen within Arkle Finance for a Business Development Representative. The successful candidate will be required to canvass, negotiate, sell and document asset finance with businesses within prescribed geographical territories including Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.

Key responsibilities;

• Proactively seek new clients and convert opportunities.
• Achieve agreed new business targets
• Maximise new business opportunities whilst always operating in line with the company’s ethos
• Implement agreed daily sales tasks within designated time frames.
• To research potential sales leads.
• Follow up any leads generated via new media and external telesales.
• To keep abreast of competitors activity and market conditions
• Assist with the development of existing and new products.
• Provide occasional support to other areas of the Company as required.

You will be a self-motivated, experienced sales person with the ability to provide both written and oral credit proposals, which are concise and factual.You will be able to generate your own leads in driving new business from a specified territory. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of performing against sales targets.

The position requires excellent communication skills and a clear, confident telephone manner.The ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and precision is essential. You will need to be PC literate, able to use Microsoft suite.Full asset finance training will be provided
