Close Brothers Asset Finance’s Transport team has welcomed Matt Wheeler as the Corporate Sales Manager to spearhead growth initiatives in the South. 

With 20 years of asset finance expertise from leading UK lenders, Wheeler is set to leverage his experience to enhance Close Brothers’ position as the largest non-clearing bank asset funder in the UK. 

Andrew Buswell, Sales Director for Close Brothers Asset Finance’s Transport division, expressed confidence in the mid-corporate market, emphasising the team’s commitment to supporting businesses through economic cycles.

Simultaneously, Braemar Finance, a trading name of Close Brothers, announced the appointment of Lewis Jones as Area Sales Manager. Tasked with expanding the professions funder’s presence in East and North London, and East Anglia, Lewis brings extensive banking experience to the role. His dedication to customer service and building long-term client relationships aligns with Braemar Finance’s commitment to expert service across various professions.
