Asset finance industry software provider White Clarke Group (WCG) has been named the most popular industry software firm by the Leasing Committee of the China Chamber of International Commerce.

Delegates from WCG’s UK and Australia offices were presented the award for Most Popular Automotive Finance and Leasing Solution Provider at the China Leasing Summit in Beijing on 21 June.

Brendan Gleeson, executive vice president of WCG, accepted the award on behalf of the company and said: "It makes me very proud to accept this award on behalf of our committed and hardworking staff."

Gleeson said the award was "further proof" of WCG’s "leading-edge" technology and added the firm’s "highly scalable" CALMS2 end-to-end software was "ideal for the Chinese market, which is set to grow exponentially".

The China Leasing Summit was hosted by the Leasing Committee of China Chamber of International Commerce and featured a number of delegates from across the leasing industry including Colin Fleishcmann of WCG who delivered a presentation on the "huge potential for growth in auto rental, leasing and fleet services" in China.

In the lead up to the conference, Derek Soper of IAA-Advisory wrote a series of articles for Leasing Life on trends in the Chinese and wider Asian market while Leasing Life’s own investigation found the market to be opening up further to European lessors.
