The company, which designs and assembles
assets for commercial kitchens, said projects involving Admiral
Leasing have range in size between £50,000 (€56,000) and
£500,000.

According to the company’s joint director,
Jack Sharkey, around 25 percent of the business of Vision CK uses
on leasing, and another 10 percent is funded by other forms of
finance, most of which is also covered by Admiral Leasing.

Despite the preferred relationship with
Admiral, Sharkey said Vision CK has also worked with other
lessors.

These include Bibby Leasing – the only finance
company to be a member of the Catering Equipment Distribution
Association (see left) – as well as companies having specific
agreements with its clients, such as Lombard.

Sharkey said, in all cases, there were “golden
rules” in selecting partners.

In particular, he said all lessors dealing
with Vision CK need to be able both to broker and to underwrite
their business.

“Having arrangements in place with companies
that can both broker and underwrite their own business usually
gives us a far better chance of keeping that agreement,” he
added.
