United Trust Bank has recruited Giles Hussey to join the underwriting team in its asset finance division.
Hussey joins UTB from Hitachi Capital where he spent seven years and will report to Peter Price, senior underwriter. Price and Hussey previously worked together at ING.

UTB’s asset finance underwriting team now comprises of Peter Price, Charlotte Fenton, Hayley Macfarlane and Giles Hussey.
Price said: “Having known Giles for a number of years, it’s great to team up with him once again.
“During his time at Hitachi, he has established a strong reputation as someone who values the broker/funder relationship and who brokers can work closely with. He will be a valued member of our team and adds capacity to deal directly with brokers and return quick decisions.
“This year has got off to a busy start at UTB and with the new ’20 plate registration period in full swing, his arrival couldn’t have come at a better time.”
