Ultimate Finance has appointed Neil Curtis as regional director of asset finance.

Curtis has over 25 years’ experience in asset-based finance, and has previously worked at GE Capital, Shawbrook Bank, and as a broker.

He joins Ultimate Finance from the finance division of construction manufacturer Caterpillar, and will be based in the Bristol office.

In this role, Curtis will provide asset finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a variety of sectors throughout the South West and around the M5 corridor.

Curtis said: “Having worked as both a lender and broker, I was really attracted by Climate’s desire to lend which is a refreshing change to some financial institution’s that look for reasons not do so or are slow to make decisions.”

Andy Ribbins, managing director of Ultimate Asset Finance, touted Curtis’ experience, and was confident he would help Ultimate Finance meet their goals.

Ribbins said: “With his knowledge and all-round experience, I know he will be a tremendous addition to the team… [and] help us maintain the momentum and reach our ambitious targets.”
