Midlands Asset Finance (MAF) has recruited its newest director in a bid to increase its coverage in the Midlands.

Based in Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, Paul Richardson (pictured) joins MAF as sales director, Midlands region, to work with his team to help businesses with their asset finance and property finance requirements.

Richardson joins from Santander where he spent over 10 years, seven as a senior manager. Before that he spent 14 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland as an area development manager.

Richardson is the second director to join MAF in recent times, with Mark Lawson becoming the newest director of healthcare two weeks ago, as MAF continues to grow.

Richardson said: “Since starting my career in banking 28 years ago, I have always had a desire to support SME owners meet their ambitions by working with them to simplify their access to finance.

“The opportunity to join an established team like MAF allows me to use my knowledge and skills to support even more SMEs with finance options and spread the service of MAF across the business community.”
