Taais Grosse, a 38-year-old US citizen, has joined BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions as global head of compliance, effective from 1 July 2020. She replaces Agnes Dutot who joined Arval as global compliance officer.

Grosse’s responsibilities include financial security, protection of interests of clients, market integrity and professional ethics. 

While based at the Nanterre headquarters in France, Grosse will nonetheless report to the head of compliance for domestic markets, Hilde Duson – this function is vertically linked to the BNP Paribas Group to ensure maximum transparency and ethics.

Grosse graduated from the Universities of Brown and Georgetown, US. 

She joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2014 after six years of experience with the US Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs based out of the US Embassy in Paris, France.

​From 2016 to 2020, she worked as a senior financial security compliance officer with International Financial Services (IFS) within the BNP Paribas Group. 

Grosse was in charge of project management, risk analysis, permanent control missions, and advisory for the non-banking IFS business lines.

Before joining IFS, Taais was vice-president of policies & procedures at BNP Paribas financial security US compliance domain in New York from 2014 to 2016 where she was the team lead for the creation and update of group sanctions policies, procedures and norms, and conducted training at the group level.

In 2019, BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions says it financed 346,000 projects for a total volume of 14.1bn euros in 20 countries, in Europe but also in Asia, the US and Canada.
