REN Legal has made an addition to its asset finance team.

Guy Espitalier-Noel joins from Stephenson Harwood, having previously worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer after qualifying at Slaughter and May.

Guy Espitalier-Noel was also a legal counsel at GE Aviation from 2010-11.

Espitalier-Noel acts for aviation finance banks, lessors and operators on cross-border aviation finance and leasing transactions including operating lease financings (including subordinated debt and Sharia-compliant financings), finance leases, sale and leaseback transactions, aircraft and engine purchases and disposals and PDP financings. Espitalier-Noel’s arrival follows the recent appointment by REN of Sulagna Roy as an ‘Of Counsel’, a senior associate with more than 15 years’ experience in the profession.

REN Legal is a commercial law firm based in the City of London, with core practice areas of finance, corporate, real estate and dispute resolution. Espitalier-Noel was lead counsel for the operator on Airfinance Journal’s Operating Lease Deal of the Year 2017.
