Pulse Outsource, a back-office and funding services provider for businesses, has appointed Helen Wheeler as managing director with immediate effect. The move comes following the company’s acquisition by Cubitt Holdings (Europe) LLC in March 2021.

Wheeler joins Lisa McCulloch – operations director – to create an all-female leadership team, the company said in a statement.

Wheeler has 25 years’ experience in the UK invoice finance market and joins from Newable Finance, where she was head of cashflow. 

Before Newable Finance, she was with Bibby Financial Services for over 15 years culminating in the role of managing director of their construction finance business.

She is joined by Lisa McCulloch who leads the back-office team. McCulloch started her career as an accountant but has spent the last decade specialising in payroll solutions.

Wheeler said: “We have set ourselves an ambitious objective to increase our support to UK businesses at a time when they are looking for help to get their businesses back to pre-Covid levels and to shore themselves up against future challenges.

Pulse Outsource provides funding support to businesses that need to pay placement and contract staff while waiting for client invoices to be paid. It also manages the day-to-day running of back-office administrative tasks such as raising invoices and paying placement and contract staff helping to reduce overheads and use time more efficiently.
