Boutique finance brokerage Libra Leasing has appointed Parveen Sokee to its board as client services director, the company reported.
Sokee, who joined the company soon after it was incorporated in May 2019, was previously with Academy Leasing, where she spent over 10 years in a sales support role. Prior to this, she was with Cheshire-based Unique Leasing.
Libra Leasing, a Manchester-based provider of asset finance, commercial loans and invoice financing for UK small businesses, is a private limited company and has two directors, Michaela Dodd and Peter Nolan.
Dodd had a short stint as the head of marketing at 1pm before establishing Libra.
She too was previously with Academy Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of 1pm, having spent over 9 years there in various roles. Academy specialises in providing vehicle, equipment and invoice finance.
