Peter Crabtree has joined
Lombard Vehicle Management as head of its new Strategic Accounts
team. Crabtree worked most recently at Bank of Scotland, where he
spent 14 years in its corporate vehicle finance business.

LOW CARBON VEHICLE PARTERSHIP

Professor Neville Jackson, the
technical director at Ricardo, has been appointed the new chair of
the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership the UK government-sponsored
partnership aimed at encouraging the rapid adoption of low carbon
technology.
In his role at Ricardo, Jackson is responsible for developing the
company’s future vision for vehicle technology and for the
strategic planning and execution of research and development.

VERTU MOTORS

Fast-growing retailer Vertu
Motors has appointed a new management team at its Bristol Street
Motors Peugeot and Hyundai dealership in Banbury,
Oxfordshire.
General manager Chris
Megginson
previously worked for Reg Vardy, and Evans Halshaw
Nissan in Middlesbrough.
Keith Barnfield, the
new general sales manager, previously worked for Reg Vardy and SG
Petch.

ZENITH PROVECTA

Fleet leasing, management and
ECO provider Zenith Provecta has announced that Vicky Van Denbulcke is to be the
new group marketing manager.
She previously held the position of marketing manager for Provecta
and is taking on the wider group role following Provecta’s
acquisition by Zenith last year.
Prior to that she was affinity development manager at the AA,
responsible for growing membership through employee-based
schemes.

BANQUE PSA FINANCE

Philippe Alexandre, the former
director of Banque PSA Finance UK, has been appointed deputy
general manager of the captive finance house’s French
operations.
Last year, Alexandre was also made deputy general manager of
Credipar, which is part of Banque PSA Finance.
Another Banque PSA Finance veteran, Bernard Darrieutort, has been
named as the new CEO of Credipar.

CATTLES INVOICE FINANCE

Independent business funder,
Cattles Invoice Finance (CIF), has strengthened its Manchester
sales team with the appointment of regional manager, Adele Berry.
Prior to joining CIF, Berry was a sales manager in the small
business division at Five Arrows Commercial Finance, where she held
the role for three-and-a-half years.
Berry also spent seven years as an associate director in Bank of
Scotland’s asset finance team.
In her new role, Berry will be working with small to medium-sized
enterprises that require flexible financial solutions, or debtor
finance to ease cashflow problems.

LPM OUTSOURCING

LPM Outsourcing, the company
specialising in back office administration for asset finance
companies, has appointed Ian Dennis as new head of
sales.
Dennis has over 13 years of experience in the asset finance and
leasing sector, and his career included sales management positions
with Lombard and Allied Irish Bank.
More recently, he covered the role of relationship manager for
BA&SF, where he was responsible for developing corporate
portfolios.
LPM Outsourcing managing director Philip Davies said that Dennis
would play “a key role in helping LPM identify and realise the many
business opportunities presented given the current economic
climate”.

CSOB LEASING

Libor Bosak is the new general
manager and chairman of the board of directors at CSOB
Leasing.
He is currently the chairman of the board of directors and general
manager at CSOB Leasing in Slovakia.
Bosak replaces Karel
Boucek
, who resigned in March.

Mills has over18 years’ experience in technology and finance

SIEMENS FINANCIAL SERVICES

Siemens Financial Services has
appointed a new chief risk officer in the UK.
Frances Watson joins
the asset finance provider with immediate effect, replacing
Stephen Ellison, who
has been appointed head of structured finance for Siemens FS’
commercial finance business in the Europe and Asia regions.
Prior to her appointment at Siemens FS, Watson was the managing
director of the global political risk practice at Marsh, the
UK-headquartered insurance broker.
She also held senior risk and credit roles with GE, Lombard and
HSBC.
At Siemens FS she will assume responsibility for leading the risk,
credit, asset management and collections functions.

CHEVIN FLEET SOLUTIONS

Fleet management software
specialist Chevin Fleet Solutions has appointed Kevin Hudson as the company’s
new business development manager.
Hudson has more than eight years of experience within the motor
trade and leasing industry, having worked in sales roles for dealer
group Marshalls, TLS Vehicle Rental and, more recently, for
telematics firm Minorplanet.

BARCLAYS ASSET & SALES
FINANCE

Ed Marks has been appointed the
new head of structured finance, marine, corporate jets and
super-yachts at Barclays’ Asset & Sales Finance division. He
will be based at Hamble Point Marina in Southampton. Marks joined
Barclays in 2007 as director of leveraged asset finance. Previously
he held directorships at Investec and Citibank.

Syscap

Syscap took on five new
employees last month, three of whom – Jon Souch, David Johns and Richard Corry – joined from
embattled financier Genesis Capital.
Alongside Johns and Corry, Cheryl Weeks and Phillip Holloway also joined the
company as account managers for Syscap’s key vertical
markets.
Souch was appointed team leader for Syscap’s key vendor
programmes.

Merchant House Finance

Merchant House Finance has
appointed Matthew
Goddard
as regional director.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, Goddard will
be responsible Merchant House Finance’s asset finance business. He
joins from Landsbanki, where he was a co-founding director of their
equipment finance unit.

CATTLES

Following regulatory approval,
troubled lessor Cattles has announced the appointment of
Jamie Smith as
interim finance director, replacing James Corr, who joined the
company in 2001.

ABC INTERNATIONAL BANK

Faisal Alshowaikh has been
appointed head of Islamic financial services at ABC International
Bank, which includes leasing, real estate, and Islamic home finance
through its Alburaq retail finance business.

GMC LEASING

GMC Leasing, an independent
vehicle lessor, has appointed a new sales representative.
In his new role, Adam
Allaker
will help manage the increase in demand for private
and business leasing.
