appointed a new head of global sales and products. Jacopo Benucci has been working with
UniCredit since 2005 – focusing on the CEE market and Turkey first
and being involved in UniCredit Leasing strategic planning after.
More recently, he has been developing UniCredit Leasing’s
multichannel projects. He is also a member of the board of
directors for UniCredit Leasing Ukraine.

 

De Lage Leasing

Tabitha
Ervin
has joined De Lage Leasing as sales support in its
office technology division in Croxley Green. She previously worked
for CIT in Dublin.

specialist. She was previously with EMC Computer Services.

stepped down from his position at the company in the wake of
considerable interim losses for the broker-fed funder. Channon’s
successor is treasury director Helen

, formerly a manager for Vodafone and the Virgin
Group.

G3 Remarketing

G3 Remarketing has announced two new
appointments. Tom Marley has
joined the remarketing firm as head of projects and development. He
has held senior roles in the leisure, travel and automotive
industries. Terry McDonald has
also joined, as a senior account manager. He has over a decade’s
experience within the auction sector, G3 said, and will be
responsible for the company’s fortnightly online commercial
auctions.

 

Manheim Auctions

Manheim Auctions has strengthened its
commercial vehicle team with a number of new appointments.
James Davis becomes general
manager of CV operations for Manheim’s three auction centres of
Leeds, Gloucester and Haydock. Steve
Barlow
becomes auction centre manager for Leeds Commercials.
He replaces Tony Long, who has
been appointed as senior operations manager. The new team also
includes Richard Farrar as car
and CV manager and StuartPeak as
CV manager for Manheim’s Colchester business. Chris Jarvis becomes CV manager for
Manheim’s Washington business.

 

Zenith Provecta

Zenith Provecta has announced that
Mark Connor will take up the
role of head of operations at the fleet management and leasing
company. The position is a newly-created role which Zenith Provecta
has instituted in order to improve further its operational offering
to customers, the independent fleet management company said. Connor
joins from Lex, where he spent seven years in senior management
roles, and will be responsible for “maintenance and in-life
services, Careline (the Zenith Provecta Accident Management Team),
procurement and contracts administration” in his new position,
Zenith Provecta said. In addition, Robert Butler has been appointed to the
newly-created role of financial controller at the company. He is an
experienced finance professional, having held the positions of
deputy FD at Shepherd Construction and head of financial accounting
at Virgin Media. Butler is a qualified chartered accountant, and
was trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

Fleet Support Group

Independent fleet management company
Fleet Support Group (FSG) has announced two new joiners.
John Deane, the newly-appointed
business development manager, previously spent nine years – to 2001
– working for FSG, leaving to work for Kenning Leaseline, then
Lombard Vehicle Management and Lombard Asset Finance. Malcolm Wynd, FSG’s new vehicle funding
consultant, is a director of Charter House Media Ltd, and has over
25 years’ experience in contract hire and leasing, having spent
time at BRS Car Lease, GE Capital, and LeasePlan. Wynd will help
FSG’s customers to choose the most cost-effective way of funding
their fleets, the company said.

 

Hitachi Capital Vehicle
Solutions

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions has
said James Worraker is to be its
new head of finance. Worraker has spent over 15 years in the
automotive industry, and has worked for LeasePlan and the RAC among
others. His areas of responsibility will include “accounting and
control, planning and analysis, commercial support and credit and
collection,” the fleet management and leasing company said.

 

VÚB Leasing

Bratislava-based VÚB Banka has taken
full control of VÚB Leasing and appointed a new head for the
lessor. The Intesa Sanpaolo subsidiary has chosen Miloš Bikár as its new CEO, replacing
Martin Rajec. Bikár has been
working in the banking sector for over eight years, and since 2006
he was head of VÚB Banka’s SME department. He said that his
“primary objective” will be to re-launch VÚB Leasing so that the
company’s position is “close to the market position of VÚB Bank in
Slovakia”.

 

Jürgen GerberVR
Leasing

Germany’s VR Leasing has made two new
appointments. Jürgen Gerber is
the new head of market for machinery for the Eschborn-based lessor.
Gerber keeps his role as MD of VR medico Leasing. Prior to being
appointed to that, he was head of the department of agriculture and
food of DZ Bank. Gerber replaces Klaus
Ressel
, who will now be in charge of the reselling
business.
Ressel joined VR Leasing in 1980, initially working in the credit
area and then in the IT segment, before being appointed as head of
market for machinery (a role he held for around 10 years).

 

Private & Commercial
Finance

Diane Ford has been appointed credit
control supervisor at Private & Commercial Finance (PCFC) in
London. Before joining the AIM-quoted finance house, she worked
with GE Capital and after that she held a position with Royal Bank
of Scotland in Edinburgh. PCFC chief executive Scott Maybury said
Ford was chosen for her “extensive experience”.

 

SG Equipment Finance

David Watkins has been hired by SG
Equipment Finance Ltd to fill a freshly created role at the UK
lessor. A former senior credit analyst at Hitachi Capital, Watkins
has been appointed risk manager at the Richmond-based company.
Watkins now reports to Gary Foster, the UK lessor’s senior risk
manager, who in turn reports to Steve Symons, the lessor’s
operations director. The move takes place following a spate of
changes at Hitachi Capital.
