SWEDBANK LIISING
Jan Andresoo has been appointed
as chief executive and chairman of the board of Swedbank Liising,
the Estonian leasing subsidiary of Swedbank. Andresoo was
previously CEO of Swedbank Varakindlustus, the non-life insurance
arm of the bank in Estonia. Gunnar Toomemets,
Swedbank Liising’s previous CEO, has taken over as head of
Swedbank’s private banking unit.

Porsche has appointed Lutz Meschke as
executive vice-president financial affairs at Porsche AG. Meschke,
who will also join Porsche’s executive board, was previously the
head of central controlling at Porsche.
He will be responsible for the top management of the finance and
operations division, as well as purchasing and procurement.

has appointed Andy
Phillips as head of sales.
Phillips has over 25 years of corporate banking experience, with
the last 15 years spent specialising in the receivables financing
sector. Most recently, he worked for the Bank of Ireland and Bank
of Scotland.
LEASEPLAN
LeasePlan has announced the
appointment of Matt
Dyer as commercial director for LeasePlan UK,
replacing Tim Hudson. Dyer has been with the
vehicle lessor for 13 years, and joins LeasePlan UK from LeasePlan
International, where he was MD since 2004. Hudson will replace him
as managing director at LeasePlan International.

Marco Hughes has joined
Post Office Financial Services as director of current accounts.
Prior to his new role, Hughes was head of product and commercial
management in HBOS’s banking division. Outside of HBOS, Hughes has
also worked at CitiGroup, most latterly as vice president of
operations.
STEPHENSON HARWOOD
Pinsent Mason leasing partner
Graeme
McLellan has moved to law firm Stephenson Harwood,
joining Richard
Parsons, Paul Ng and Clare McConnell, who
have all joined the firm in recent months. McLellan, who acted for
Angel Trains and Lloyds TSB Rail Finance while at Pinsent’s, will
look after rail and aviation finance litigation.
UNICREDIT LEASING
UniCredit Global Leasing’s
vice-president for operations, Septimiu Postelnicu, is
to become the executive vice-president of UniCredit Tiriac, the
Romanian bank, replacing Fijan Darko. Before his
role at UniCredit Global Leasing in Milan, Postelnicu was president
of UniCredit Leasing in Romania.
BNP PARIBAS LEASE
GROUP
BNP Paribas Lease Group has
appointed Brian Warbrick as head of key accounts
within the French lessor’s equipment and logistic solutions
division. Warbrick has spent over 20 years in the leasing sector,
working with Capital Asset Finance and then De Lage Landen, where
he was country sales manager.
