The National Association of Commercial Finance
Brokers (NACFB) used its AGM to announce a rebrand designed to
highlight the body’s role in sourcing funding for UK SMEs.

The trade body will now use a single,
simplified logo which will carry the strap line “Helping Fund UK
Business”.

Adam Tyler, chief executive of the NACFB, said
the main aim of the rebranding was to underline the association’s
role in putting brokers and SMEs in contact to secure funding.

Tyler also announced the association’s plans
for the coming year including an asset fraud training programme and
a Government backed training programme for 16 – 19 year olds to
raise awareness of commercial finance and a number of initiatives
aiming to produce thousands of leads for NACFB members throughout
2012, and continued political lobbying.

The AGM, which was attended by over 40
exhibitors and more than 250 delegates, was followed by a
networking lunch and the NACFB’s 19th Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony,
held at the Birmingham Metropole.

At the evening’s Awards Ceremony, guests
raised over £6,000 for the charity was Breast Cancer Care.
