Financial services broker, Midlands Asset Finance (MAF), has appointed a relationship manager to cover the Leicestershire area.
Based in Syston, Leicestershire where she was born and lives, Shital Koria has joined the business to support SME and corporate clients with asset finance, invoice finance and property finance.
Joining from Lombard where she worked as a relationship manager, Koria also spent ten years as a business manager and service quality manager at Royal Bank of Scotland.
Koria is the ninth appointment of the year for MAF, following the recent hiring of five graduates earlier this month, as the firm continues its expansion which has seen the business more than double in size in the last 18 months.
Harry Krikken, Charlie Hubble and Liam Delaney were recruited as trainee relationship managers. Ryan Walker has become a marketing executive, while Sam Greasley has joined in as sales co-ordinator while he completes an apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Including the new hires, the team at Midlands Asset Finance now includes 28 people.
On joining the firm, Shital said: “I’m really excited about what’s in store at MAF and can’t wait to get stuck in.”
“Dave & Sue [the directors] have really set out a vision for the company and are surrounded by a team of highly experienced and talented people who share that same vision.”
“I’m looking forward to building upon existing relationships and working on new ones with clients throughout the country.”
MAF director, Sue Chapman, said: “I’m delighted that Shital has joined the team here.
“She’s a huge coup for the business and comes with a vast amount of experience. With banks reducing their high street presence, MAF remains committed to meeting customers face-to-face to understand their business.
“Shital’s expertise in working across all areas of finance means she can assist local businesses in obtaining access to a variety of funding sources to help them grow.”
