Acquis Data Services has announced that Liberty Leasing is the latest asset finance provider to join Acquis Lumia, a platform designed to enhance transparency and combat fraud in the sector.
Launched in 2022, Acquis Lumia is a real-time register of asset finance borrowing, enabling lenders to identify suspicious or irregular balance sheet activity and mitigate potential fraudulent behaviour.

Edward Ockleford, Head of Operations at Liberty Leasing, said the company recognises the importance of industry-wide cooperation in tackling fraud. “The Lumia platform provides a simple and effective way for us to meet this challenge head-on,” he said.
James Rudolf, Chief Commercial Officer at Acquis Data Services, welcomed Liberty Leasing to the initiative, highlighting the platform’s growing adoption. “We are now at 36 members in the Lumia community, and the momentum continues to grow. Every organisation that signs up brings us one step closer to stamping out fraudulent activity in our industry,” he said.
