UK-based specialist asset finance company Liberty Leasing has named Countess Mountbatten Hospice as its charity partner of the year.

Paul Sheedy, commercial director, said: “This year we have introduced a new approach for charitable giving in our business, which aims to provide a structured and focused approach to making a real difference to the charities we support.”

“Having a ‘Charity of the Year’ means that we can focus all of our fundraising efforts to achieve the maximum benefit for one chosen charity. Our staff are always very supportive with our efforts in this area and take an active role in fundraising, therefore it feels only right that they are actively involved deciding which charity we choose to partner with,” he added.

The partnership was chosen by staff who submitted over 20 charities for consideration.

Countess Mountbatten Hospice provides medical, nursing, psychological, social and spiritual end of life care to patients, their families and friends across Southampton.

Liberty Leasing is a specialist asset finance company founded in 2001 and since formation has made advances on over 4000 different lease purchase, finance lease, refinance and loan agreements.
