down entries to a list of finalists in each category.

Finalists for the European Lessor of the Year
Award are BNP Paribas Lease Group, SG Equipment Finance, and

The awards, to be held in Milan, include the
Italian Lessor of the Year Award, for which finalists are BNP
Paribas Lease Group Italia, Sardaleasing, and UniCredit
Leasing.

A new category for 2010, Public Sector Lessor
of the Year Award is hotly contested with a shortlist comprising
Cranmer Lawrence & Company, Deutsche Leasing Group, ECS Group,
and Leaseplan / Automotive Leasing. Good partnering with the public
sector and understanding customers, and savings delivery, were
among the strengths of the successful entries.

A focus on customer relationship management
and a willingness to keep lending through tough times were some of
the qualities of finalists for the SME Champion of the Year Award,
another close run category. Finalists are: Close Asset Finance, ING
Lease UK, Investec Asset Finance, UniCredit Leasing.

Excellent use of technology stood out among
the finalists for Innovator of the Year Award: 3-step IT, Arval,
Nordea Finance.

The winners will be announced at a glittering
awards dinner at the Grand Visconti Palace in Milan on
