The Leasing Foundation has begun its search for 30 high-achieving individuals under 30 who are working in the asset finance industry.
The ‘30 Under 30’ list aims to recognise the industry’s younger talent and showcase their achievements within the asset finance sector. Entry is open to any UK-based asset finance or leasing professional, aged 29 or younger on 30 September 2021, working for either a lender or a service provider.

Nathan Mollett, director of the Leasing Foundation and head of asset finance at United Trust Bank, said: “Asset finance and leasing professionals aged under 30 can be nominated for inclusion in this new and prestigious list, which recognises those with the greatest potential to become industry leaders of the future – and those who have achieved greatness already.
Potential entrants are able to enter themselves, or they can also be nominated by others. The submission process asks for 1-2 pages detailing how they have demonstrated at least two of the following points:
- Overall performance within their role
- Tangible examples of coaching or inspiring other young people within the business
- A driver of change or transformation within their business
- Champions of D&I within their business
- Involvement in promotion of the industry outside of their day job
- Charitable activity
All entries plus a headshot (and name and company) should be sent to hello@leasingfoundation.org. A judging panel of independent industry experts will decide who makes the cut. The awards will be published annually, and the final list will be released and showcased at industry events later in the year.
Mollett added: “It’s high time that we celebrated and showcased high potential talent within our industry. Not only will this list motivate other young finance professionals, but it will also help attract new young talent to the sector.”
