the software with the aim of being able to make faster decisions on
modifications and leases.

Steve Lamey, programme director at Angel
Trains, said: “The purpose of the system is to get us on the front
foot for future industry challenges.”

In addition to the firm’s bespoke asset
management software package, Angel has implemented the Oracle
E-Business Suite 12.1 to handle finance, project management and
procurement applications.

Lamey added: “With the introduction of
longer franchises and leases, it is more important than ever for
lessors that Angel Trains understands the conditions of the stock
and manages them effectively.”
