Škoda UK has appointed Henry Williams as its new head of fleet, following predecessor Patrick McGillycuddy’s appointment as head of group fleet services for Volkswagen Group UK.

Williams was previously Skoda’s head of planning and supply as well as national fleet sales manager.

Commenting on his appointment, Williams said: "It’s an exciting time to be heading up the Škoda fleet operation. Our model line-up is stronger than ever before, with recent additions such as the all-new Superb giving company car drivers and fleet managers a brilliant blend of practicality, affordability and style. I’m looking forward to getting started."

Duncan Movassaghi, brand director for Škoda UK, said: "Henry has been a crucial part of Škoda’s success in the UK over the past three years. His experience in the fleet market – combined with his passion, enthusiasm and drive – will ensure our sales continue to go from strength to strength."

Movassaghi was promoted to his current role in January, after Alasdair Stewart moved to take up a senior assignment within Volkswagen Group UK.
