The third Annual International Leasing
Conference will be held on May 17, putting leasing development in
Ukraine into the international spotlight.

The event, hosted by the Ukrainian Union of
Lessors (UUL), will be held at the Grand Admiral Club complex near
Kyiv.

According to the programme, attendees will
be able to “receive complete information” about market conditions
and trends in Ukraine and related markets, as well as establish new
business contacts in the region.

The event will consider a wider European
context, kicking off with an analysis of Central and Eastern
European leasing market results and examining the development of
the Russian leasing market in 2011.

The conference will also consider lessons
the industry can learn from Europe’s financial crisis and address
issues ranging from leasing in agriculture to risk-management and
car-rental.

Head of the UUL’s board Roman Ivanenko will
be speaking at the event. Presenters also include Pavlo Vasilyev,
general manager of Euro Leasing, and the Ukrainian deputy minister
of agricultural policy and food, Olexandr Sen.
