Ian Isaac has been appointed interim managing director of Lombard after Andy Hart, himself in the position on an interim basis, stepped down in March.

Isaac moves from his position as managing director of Lombard’s Business and Commercial division which will now be taken over by Craig Leyland, the division’s sales director.

Isaac joined the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) asset finance subsidiary 25 years ago and has held various roles and helped to set up RBS’s asset finance business in the US.

Andy Hart was appointed interim managing director in September 2012 following the departure of Alex Baldock after four years in the top position.
