Hitachi Capital’s European Vendor Solutions division has appointed Gideon Stanley as senior business development manager.
Stanley has over 30 years’ experience in the European vendor finance industry having worked with vendors and a range of pan-European finance companies.
Before joining Hitachi Capital European Vendor Solutions Stanley’s most recent role involved setting up and managing customer finance solutions across Europe and Asia for Precor – a global fitness equipment brand owned by Amer Sports Corporation.
His role at Hitachi will be based out of their Staines office and will focus on developing European vendor relationships within the wider Hitachi Capital Group.
Established in 2013 the European Vendor Solutions Division has grown from three people to more than 20 people transacting £287m in 20 European countries since 2018/19.

Following on from the creation of a subsidiary in the Netherlands and opening of a branch in the Republic of Ireland last year, we continue to evolve as a business, increasing our cross border lending capabilities.”
