SME lender Haydock Finance has made an appointment to the newly created role of regional broker manager for the South East.
Stuart Urquhart has a successful track record in the asset finance market. In this new role, he will originate and develop opportunities with new and existing brokers by building and maintaining strong business relationships.

The move by Haydock mirrors the way the company has structured field-based broker management in the South West of the country.
Urquhart said: “It may sound like a cliché but Haydock are building a team to deliver above and beyond the promises they make to their broker partners. I’m excited to join such a fast-expanding, dynamic company and Haydock is really making its mark in the asset finance market. I’m looking forward to contributing towards its ambitious growth plans and further improving service levels in the South East where I will be the first point of contact for brokers and introducers in the region.”
Urquhart was previously a business development manager for Hampshire Trust Bank. In this position he was focused on supporting and building broker relationships across South East England. Urquhart was prior to this a commercial partnership manager at Spotcap UK and before that worked at Aldermore Bank in a variety of positions from 2013-2017.
